Keyboard focus
Click inside the game frame before pressing any key. If the page scrolls instead of the game reacting, click the player again and retry.
Use the play guide first if you have not loaded the game yet. If the player stays blank, jump to loading fixes.
Basic keys
The original Kongregate page lists three controls: hold Right Arrow to run, use Left Arrow to stop, and press Up Arrow to jump.
Start by holding Right. Use Left when an obstacle requires patience, then press Up when you are close enough to clear it. The original Kongregate instructions do not list Down Arrow or Space.

Timing the three levels
The game rewards short decisions rather than constant speed. Look ahead, start running when the path is clear, and stop before an obstacle if the jump window is not ready.
The full walkthrough shows three levels. Each one keeps the same control set, so progress comes from reading the next obstacle more quickly rather than learning extra keys.
Fullscreen input
Enter fullscreen only after the normal player accepts keyboard input. If keys stop working in fullscreen, exit, click the frame again, and return to the run.
When fullscreen is inconvenient, keep this guide open and use the standalone game page. The play sources page lists alternate options.
If a key still does nothing
Exit fullscreen, click the game frame again, and test Right Arrow first. If the web page scrolls instead of Shaggy moving, the browser still has keyboard focus.
If the player is blank or never reacts, work through the loading fixes before changing browsers or sources.
